Photographing for charities is the sort of job I like to be involved with.
Over the years, I've worked with charities that foster a variety of causes, from environmental to art as tool for social change (namely, Glimpse, Possible, Clean Cities Campaign, People's Palace Projects, The Verbatim Formula, Stages Toolkit and Mina | Migrants in Action).
With many of these charities, I've developed a long term working relationship - some lasting more than eight years and counting -, a longevity that makes me truly overjoyed.
I've also been lucky to work with universities such as King's College | Science Gallery and Queen Mary University in projects that combine research, community engagement and social change.
You'll find below photos that highlight of these collaborations, particularly with the charities that work with art and social change.
All these photos were taken for the ECHOES Indigenous Film Festival 2023 at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, presented by People’s Palace Projects and curated by Brazilian filmmakers Takumã Kuikuro, Graciela Guarani and Ziel Karapotó, who are portrayed here.
Following up, here are some photos of two gorgeous The Verbatim Formula (TVF) Performances in the Foundling Museum
TVF is a project created to "rethink the way we listen to young people in the Care System in the UK. It is a collaborative method that involves policy-makers, artists, social workers, foster carers and, most of all, those who have spent time in the system."  Your can read more about The Verbatim Formula here
Below, you'll see photos of the event where The Verbatim Formula was invited to the Department for Education (DfE) to share its testimonies with an audience of 60, including DfE civil servants and the Minister for Children and Families.
Last but not least, I've photographed several events and exhibitions for the Science Gallery | King's College London, namely My Emotions and Me, The Overview Effect, 404 Papers and Greenhouse Gatherings. You'll see below a selection of photos of these events.
I'm available for commissions and collaborations. Just drop me a line, I'd love to hear from you!
